Very hard to find Noritake Nippon 7-3/4" handpainted pitcher with fantastic gold trim, beading and slip trail. All the beading and slip trail are intact.

However, there is considerable gold rubbing on the handle, bottom edge and the rim of the opening. This certainly does not detract from the beauty of this wonderful piece!

The mark is somewhat hard to see, but it is definitely mark #81 from Joan F. Van Patten Nippon Porcelain books. No chips, cracks or hairlines.

Dated 1915 very nice metal framed hand tinted litho with the saying "Let me live in a house by the side of the road where race of men go by, the men who are good and the men who are bad; as good and as bad as I. I would not sit on the scorner's seat or hurl the cynic's ban; let me live in a house by the side of the road and be a friend to man." Saying by Sam Walter Foss.

Nice advertising piece from J.C. Miller Elevator in Litchville, North Dakota. Measures 6x8. Some discoloration, but adds to the character and age of this piece.

"Little Saint Elizabeth & Other Stories" by Frances Hodgson Burnett, illustrations from drawings by Reginald B. Birch. Copyright 1890 by Charles Scribner's Sons. Press of J. J. Little & Co., Astor Place, New York.

Wonderful book by the author of "Little Lord Fauntleroy". The book has 146 pages to the story and 11 illustrations. There are 16 additional pages of advertising for other books. The last photo showing is an illustration from "Two Little Confederates", as advertised.

The book in is nice condition, some fading to the front of the book. There is minor bumping to the corners of the book. There is a small section of pages which are coming loose at the binding, but still very much intact. I found minor soiling on about 15 pages. Mostly from dirty fingerprints. An excellent book for a young girls collection!
